The Diet:
This week was our diet week for baseball. We contacted Will Summers and asked him what his diet is like and he told us pretty much the same thing that the football players told us. He said that his diet consists of just mostly eating protein. Thankfully he did eat a little bit less than the football players did but it was still not the amount of food intake that we are normally used too. Next week we will be joining Will Summers on the baseball field to ask him about baseball and to actually try out and see what his practices are like. Second practice: We also ended up having to do our second football practice this week because we were having a hard time finding out when would be a good time for us to go. Although when we went this week we were just practicing by ourselves. We based this practice off of the instructions that the football players gave us last week when we practiced with them. We started off our practice the same way we did the last one which just included stretching and throwing a little bit to help warm us up. Then we practiced running some of the different routes that they taught us last week. Then we ended off the practice by doing some of their speed and agility drills and a cool down jog. Even though we had only been to one other practice, there was definitely a slight improvement in our skills, which was probably mostly due to the fact that by then we knew what we were supposed to do and how to do it. The filming process: The filming process this week was especially hard since it was just the two of us. We ended up just having to set it up on the bleachers or on the ground in order for us to be able to film different things. By this we learned that if we do ever end up having to go to a practice by ourselves again, we will probably bring along another person to help us film or at least bring something to put our phone on such as a tripod.
