This week we met up with Will Summers and did some baseball workouts.
DURING THE PRACTICE: We started off the practice by warming up and throwing the ball around between the three of us. We did this for about 10 minutes before we actually started to play. Will has/had a hurt shoulder so he was not able to play 100% but he was able to talk us through some of the stuff we needed to do. We both were able to pitch it and hit it multiple times. Will was able to tell us the right ways to pitch and hit and we definitely saw some improvement after this. To finish off the practice we had some fun and were seeing how far we could throw and hit the ball. We had a really good time during this practice! Playing baseball is fun but it does take a lot of time and determination! THE FILMING PROCESS: This week we were able to bring along one of our friends to help get the footage we needed for our documentary. Doing this helped a lot and we were able to get some good clips for the video. She was able to film most of the practice so then we had to go through and find parts of the video that were worth keeping, this was difficult because we didn't really know which clips would be the most helpful but so far we have found a lot of them that seem to fit well into the documentary. DOCUMENTARY UPDATE: So far we have edited the whole football section of the video and this weekend we started working on the baseball section. We have found little holes throughout the video that we are going to have to film little transition clips for but we plan on using the 2 weeks that we will have left at the end to finish up and perfect the video. The video is coming together very nicely and we can't wait for the final product!
