During the practice:
This week we met up with Nate Brooks for a track practice. During the Practice we started off by stretching which took up more time than we were expecting. Their stretching routine is very lengthy which we learned is very important because it is easy to pull a muscle while running, and could end up affecting the rest of your season. It started off with us just doing some sit down stretches but then we moved on to stretches that require you to stand up and move around. One of the most interesting stretches we did was skipping. After we did that we had to do a warm up jog which is about one lap around a track. After that we set a goal on how long we want to run and in what amount of time do we want to try and do it. Even though we have been practicing with other sports and we have been getting more into shape we still weren't completely ready for how long and tiring this run was going to be. As a result we did have to take a few breaks during this practice and obviously drink lots of water. It's amazing how far Nate can run without stopping and how fast he can do it. The filming Process: The filming process wasn't to bad this week since we obviously didn't need a ball or anything thrown to us. We were able to have Nate film a little for us since we were just running. The hardest part was probably just filming the stretching because we had to find something to set it up on, and try to get a good angle on us. Documentary Progress: We've been doing the same thing we have in the past weeks which is just working on it little bits at a time. We will end up having extra time at the end of the project which is when we will probably get most of the editing done and take a few more clips if we need to.
